So over at egl sales community there have been many people selling little cupcake jewelry and pastel sweets and such...but nothing gothic persay. But in truth, what everyone was making could be turned gothic by just changing the colour scheme around and adding more gothic elements to the jewelry. Low and behold, dark sweets!




Comments and criticisms appreciated ^_^ any suggestions also for what I should make next would be nice as well.

i have some older craft supplies i dont use (mainly beads and small wooden shapes) that i would like to donate. is there a crafty organization that works with children, the elder, or the underprivileged that i could send my things to? i thought of donating them to an elementary school and asked my mom who's a teacher but apparently they dont do too many crafts at schools nowadays. i have tried googling but i havent come up with anything. im in central florida if that matters. thanks!

Ieri sono venuta a sapere tramite la ragazza di un collega (che è una delle mie due migliori amiche, si, li ho fatti conoscere io) che un tizio che lavora con me (Lori) ha detto alla sua squinza (che è la ragazza di un altro ma veramente flirtano alla grande che è quasi imbarazzante) che IO gli sto dietro (IO???!!!) e che quindi mi avrebbe trattato male per farmi capire che non ho "chance". *alla notizia il cervello della Sky si è rifiutato in un primo momento di elaborare l'informazione*
E la cosa tragica è che finalmente tutti i suoi cambiamenti di atteggiamento si spiegano finalmente. Non puoi essere gentile/mellifluo e poi ogni tanto tirarmi numeri. Guarda caso quando c'è lei in giro.
Ma ora, ti rendi conto che sei PATETICO? Che ogni volta che mi dici qualcosa io ti rispondo a tono e tutti ti guardano con compatimento ridendoti?
Cioè, io spero che tu l'abbia detto solo per... "bullarti" ai suoi occhi. Non puoi essere così patetico da credere che sul serio m'interessi. Cioè, ti rendi conto che ti disprezzo? Che sei un arrogante, patetico (ho menzionato patetico?) omuncolo? Che ti tratto in maniera civile, quasi gentile perché per me vali meno di zero? Pensi che non sappia tutto quello che hai combinato alla tua ex-ragazza, solo perché ti ho detto che non m'interessa? It was perfect weather for a drive today, so mum and I grabbed nan and we took a trip down to the beach.

While nan and mum talked, I sat and looked out across the marina and stitched. I worked on these guys - little slip covers for hair clips (barrettes). Not that you can't already get cute hairclips, but I usually just wear the plain metal kind and I wanted a little variety. This way I can use the same clip, but put on different 'clothes' as my mood suited.

So, I've been missing all the crafty things in my life. I'm moving to Houston in just a few weeks, and I won't have space for all of my craft junk, so I decided to just take up embroidering, since the supplies are cheap and doesn't take up too much space.
For one of my first projects (after my attempt to do a Vogart kitten crashed and burned) was a Stormtrooper... thing.. for my friend. I'm not exactly sure what to call it. A patch? that will be mounted and framed?
Anyway

It's about 4.5" x 5" ish (not including the background), and I fixed that little patch of white in the orange after I took this picture.
I'm going to cut the background back until it's just a half inch border, so just imagine it like that :)
EDIT: I cut trimmed it up and scanned it, for a better quality picture, behind the cut.

i've got a pair of overalls with fabric paint on that i'd like to take off, but i'm not sure how to go about doing so.

sadly i don't know what the overalls are made of - something synthetic and a little heavy - and i don't know what kind of fabric paint it was, but i do know it's the kind that comes in a little bottle with a teeny nozzle that you use for crafts.

the paint is on pretty thick since it was used for lines and wasn't spread. i'd rather not ruin the colour of the fabric, but i figure i'll probably have to. i'll just paint over the spots if it comes to that, so -- ideas? give me your worst! ;D
